Muddy Gumboot Events (MGE) was established in 2023 for the purpose of delivering quality mountain bike events within Canterbury.

We are the organisers of the iconic Night Racing Series and the 6 Hour Blast event which were previously owned and organised by Rod and Jane from Blue Dog Events.

Tayler, Will and Max (MGE) have been heavily involved in all disciplines of cycling over many years. In their earlier years, we raced competitively at a national level and in more recent years, have invested our time and experience in giving back to the cycling communities that first supported us. As a collective, we boast a strong skillset in organising events that range from local mid-week races to national level events. We have a reputation for delivering fun, highly organised and inclusive events and we are excited for the opportunity MGE gives us to continue delivering these events.
